Introduction of service scope/deliverables
• Perform automation script development.
• Carry out automation / functional testing in accordance with test plan. Functional / Automation testing activities include test conditions & cases design, test data preparation, test execution, result verification and documentation, incident analysis and fixing, status reporting, etc.
• Join progress update meeting and provide update of the test progress
• Upload test evidence to test / defect management tool.
Introduction of qualifications/ requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines (mandatory requirement）
• 3 years' experience in software testing, experience in automation testing is preferred
• Understand at least one development language (e.g. Ruby)
• Familiar with additional 1 to 2 programming language
• Familiar with using some simple Linux system operating commands (e.g. cp/rm/vi/mv)
• Knowledge in Eclipse, Selenium, SQL and Jenkins is an advantage
• Experiences in large scale banking systems is an advantage
• Work experiences in trading of Derivatives contracts is an advantage
• Competence of certain level of logical thinking
• Good written and reading English highly desirable
• Capability of acquiring new (business) knowledge
• Capability of Independent thinking
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
