Responsibilities:
Utilize statistical data tools including Big Data, Tableau, SQL and Hadoop to analyze data and build dashboards.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data tables and onboard metrics to experimentation platform to enable self-serve ab test for product partners.
Develop metrics to measure product success and guide product roadmap
Setup, conduct, analyze, and deep dive into A/B tests and provide recommendations on improving the search features.
Perform statistical analysis and modelling of customer’s behavioral data to identify opportunities to build new search features solving for key pain-points in search user journey, identify new growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations by leveraging insights across behavioral data, customer research and data science.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, computer science, management of information systems, engineering, economics or other quantitative discipline.
3+ years of experience in product analytics, data science or related field with a Bachelor's degree Or 2+ years of experience with a Masters degree.
Strong skills in SQL or other relational databases.
Strong applied statistical knowledge and logical thinking.
Experience in at least one programming language (eg. R, Python, Hive, Java, Scala/Spark or Perl etc).
Experience in visualization tools (eg. Tableau, R shiny etc).
Experience in working independently with high level guidance.
Proactive collaboration and effective communication are critical for remote work with different time zones.
