Responsibilities
Support the product development of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio system products from inception to end of life.
Interact and communicate with mechanical & electrical development engineers and global project team members when designing the acoustical aspects of loudspeakers and sound applications Perform simulations of these acoustic components, systems, and environments.
Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.
Interpret, develop, and manage product data, drawings, requirements and specifications.
To release acoustical parts check if technical specification is met.
Support global business / sales support to discuss specification, solutions and alternatives.
Requirements
Bachelors in engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in developing audio products.
Solid technical depth in audio products (acoustics and electronics), and in analog & digital circuit analysis.
Knowledge of product design & development, Experience in Loudspeaker driver part design (acoustical) and material knowledge.
Hands-on experience in measurements of acoustic components and audio systems.
Strong hands-on experience problem-solving & debugging skills.
Skill working with cross functional team members from multiple disciplines to reach fact-based decisions.
Good written and oral English communication skills.
