Job Title: System Engineer /Architect
Purpose of position:
We are looking for a System Architect for automotive clusters integrated to the R&D of the instrument & cluster business and Infotainment line. The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
1. Participates to the offer, development and production of the projects.
2. Review and understand system requirement and writes system architecture specification.
3. Support Marelli’s development and industrialization team.
4. Drives defect root cause analysis.
5. Change and traceability management.
6. Negotiate with customer for technical issues.
7. Follow A-SPICE for system engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Review the Customer requirements specification with the support of the different disciplines
2. Creation of the System Architecture of the Product with the support of all R&D Dept. (SW; HW: Mechanics, Optics and Display)
3. Identification of the safety requirements and flagging
4. Allocation of the Architecture requirements to the responsible disciplines
5. Responsible to write the feasibility comment for each Architecture requirement (compliance matrix) with the support of the project team and to send it to the customer
6. Responsible for the requirement’s input to the Configuration Management and support during the release planning
7. Responsible to track the evolution of the requirements and to submit them to the internal departments (PM, inside R&D, PE, Sourcing, Sales)
8. Creation of product functions and allocation to the technical disciplines
9. Identification of shared functionalities over several technical disciplines (e.g. illumination: SW, HW, Mechanics, Optics) and management of the interdisciplinary development with the aim to secure the quality of the function itself is assured
10. Responsible that GAP analysis and technical risk assessment are performed with the support of the disciplines
11. Driving of analysis of Quality problems during ramp-up phase starting from the system view
12. Responsible to apply standard analysis metrics like FTA during analysis of problems
13. Responsible to plan the complete system development cycle and to support the Project Leader in the project planning for the incremental SW increase.
14. Responsible that system integration testing and functional system validation will be performed compliant to the overall project plan
15. Responsible for the review of the test cases:
• Review of the system integration tests
16. Responsible for the error tracking and assignment for internal and errors submitted by the customer
17. Support the Project Leader on the continuous improvement process to increase product margin and profit with the aim to define and to realize these potentials before SOP with special focus on requirement’s changes and its cost impact both R&D costs and BOM
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree on Automation /Automotive /Communication /Electronic /Software area is preferable
2. HW/SW design background, having knowledge on CAN
3. Having 5 years of professional experience, preferable in automotive field
4. Synthetic and precise, customer orientation
5. Having passport and driver license
6. Willing to travel
7. Master degree on Automation/ Automotive/ Communication/ Electronic/ Software area is preferable
8. Fluent English and Chinese are mandatory
9. Good skills in English.
