Main Responsibilities:
• Power unit/e-drive NVH simulations using Abaqus and AVL Excite PU in one or a number of following areas:
o Power unit or EDU modal analysis by using Abaqus/Nastran
o Power unit (including engine and transmission) or EDU multi-body dynamics analysis by using AVL Excite PU
• Technical report writing in English
• Presentations in English and Chinese in front of customers
• Project related liaison with customers
• Support of other skill teams
• Undertaking R&D activities
• Support of other activities within AVL as required
Qualification:
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or materials science
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in NVH simulation and multi-body dynamics analysis
• Good knowledge about engine, e-motor, EDU and working principles
• Good knowledge about NVH Principles and experience of NVH test preferred
• Abaqus, AVL Excite PU, ANSA, Kiss-Soft usage/experience preferred
• Pro-active, enthusiastic, good natured and self-motivated
• Goal-oriented, committed way of working with analytical problem-solving skills
• Good team player and able to work under pressure
• Multi-culture experience preferred
• Good presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Able to deliver quality results under time constraint
