Staff SI/PI Engineer
Responsibility:
1. Working with cutting-edge DDR4/5/6 and PCIe 4/5/6 design team to simulate, analysis and improve the signal
integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) of chip, package and board.
2. Align the SI/PI target with chip design team, and support on-die, package and PCB design review and evaluation.
3. Create the simulation bench to perform pre- and post-layout SI/PI simulations in RD phase, including S parameters,
impedance, eyes, all kinds of jitters and noise, bathtub curve etc.
4. Lab measurement to verify the SI/PI performance and troubleshooting together with the design team.
Qualification:
1. MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Microwave/Physics/Computer Science/Math, with 5+ years of experience.
2. Solid knowledge of Electromagnetic and Microwave.
3. Experience in high speed SI/PI simulation and analysis.
4. Proficient theory on series equalization, SERDES circuit (FFE/CTLE/DFE) and jitter separation.
5. Mastering measurement tools like oscilloscope, VNA, TDR/TDT.
6. Excellent technical communication skills.
