Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and manage our MySQL databases, optimize data processes, and support our data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, performance tuning, and experience with Archery for database workflow management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and optimize MySQL, mongodb, databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Design, implement, and maintain data warehouses to support analytical and reporting needs.
- Utilize Archery to streamline database workflows, permissions, and SQL auditing.
- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for database systems.
- Collaborate with development and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and resolve them proactively.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and security.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MySQL.
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Archery for SQL workflow management.
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Alibaba Cloud, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Highly Preferred: Experience with MongoDB, InfluxDB, and VictoriaMetrics.
