The Role
Tesla has an opportunity for an IT Manufacturing Support Engineer at Giga Factory Shanghai LinGang. The IT Manufacturing Support Engineer is a unique role on the front lines of Tesla manufacturing. We solve problems every day and interact with different technologies to support Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility is to keep manufacturing lines running, (IT device reliability and availability, IT environment security).
• Design, install, support, upgrade, replace, and remediate all industry IT hardware along manufacturing lines.
• Quickly respond to requests and incidents from our customers.
• Troubleshoot Hardware, Operating System and software issues.
• Troubleshoot Network issues from the client up to the switch and IDF.
• Interface with the various manufacturing groups to understand issues.
• Interpret how to solve long term needs within the framework of IT MFG standards.
• Cooperate with manufacturing on participant in IT projects to build or reforming Tesla manufacturing lines.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a desktop support or system admin role.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on industry IT machines.
• Experience troubleshooting printings, barcode scanners, handheld radios, digital signage.
• Experience troubleshooting basic client-side network (DHCP, DNS, Static IP) problems.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be available for swing shift, weekends, and on-call support.
• Linux support experience a plus.
• Network hardware support experience a plus.
• Dev/Ops experience a plus.

• 快速对客户的要求和事件进行回应。
• 解决硬件、操作系统和软件问题。
• 排除从客户端到交换机和IDF的网络问题。
• 与各生产部门主动沟通，了解问题并移除潜在风险。
• 解释如何在IT MFG标准框架内解决长期需求问题。
• 参与新生产线或者车间以及改造IT项目，保障服务的及时交付。
任职要求
• 至少5年的桌面支持或中大型企业系统管理经验，有IT系统、网络、硬件故障排除经验。
• 了解认知工业标准，有在工业环境中解决硬件问题和更换硬件的经验。
• 有标签打印机、条码扫描器、数字标牌的故障排除经验。
• 必须有良好的中英文沟通技巧，能够用英语进行有效的交流、阅读和写作，优秀的客户服务技能，对细节有很强的关注和跟踪能力，较强的团队运作能力，能很好地解决问题，高度关注细节，有较强的抗压能力。
• 必须能够提供轮班、周末的支持。
• 喜欢在充满活力和创新的环境中成长，有很强的个人操守和责任感。
• 无线电通讯台管理经验优先。
• 有Linux深度支持经验者优先。
• 有网络硬件支持经验者优先。
• 有开发/运营经验者优先。
