This is a contractor role.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Operational Excellence:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the region in the business services area.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in regional operations together with affiliate, geo and global team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional affiliate teams across the region to streamline workflows and optimize capacity allocation.
• Execute daily business services following the Service Catalog and supply guidance to different teams in the region.
• Keep the Service Catalog being updated according to practice and new services’ enablement through the collaboration with affiliate, Geo and global team.
• Act as the Project Manager to support affiliate/Geo projects.
• Support change management initiatives to drive operational improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the region.
• Monitor and analyze regional operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital operations management.
• Support to deliver training programs to enhance regional operational capabilities and ensure adherence to processes and standards.
• Help perform regular audits and assessments of digital systems, applications, and processes to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Support Portfolio Manager in Application Portfolio Management to do quarterly applications review and lifecycle update.
Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners, vendors, and service providers across the region to ensure seamless regional operations and project execution.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalations and issue resolution related to business services that are supported.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or a related field
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple regional projects simultaneously.
• knowledge of digital systems, applications, and processes, including web development, content management systems, e-commerce platforms, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
• Strong team player, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams across the region.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across a diverse region
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and implementing process enhancements
• Experience in change management and driving change
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.
• Proactive mindset to drive things to happen and strong team worker.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management principles and best practices
• Thorough knowledge of operational management methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with regional regulations and compliance requirements related to IT operations and project management.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends related to portfolio and operations management.
• Fluent English speaking and writing; proficiency in Chinese and Japanese is a strong advantage
