Purpose of position:
To ensure the proper integration of SW modules in the application for the product function(s) he/she is in charge of.
To participate to the evolution and maintenance of the SW application.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Integrates the code of the corresponding constituting SW modules.
2.Checks that the function(s) is (are) present in the SW application and working as per System and SW Requirements.
3.Is involved in defects detection, in particular at SW integration stage.
4.Follows up the correction of the defects and assists the Function Architect and the SW Engineers in the root cause analysis and bug fixing activities.
5.Verifies the proper implementation of the planned evolutions and corrections, chasing possible side effects (regressions) on the rest of the SW application.
6.Follows the process and uses the tools recommended by the SW Professional Line.
7.Considers quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction as main targets throughout the performance of his/her SW activities.
8.Checks the use-rate of the system critical resources (CPU load, RAM consumption.).
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor degree in computer science, embedded systems.
2.Significant professional experience in embedded SW design / development.
