As a UX Designer specializing in AI application data observability platform, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces that facilitate complex application, data and infrastructure management tasks. Your designs will focus on delivering intuitive and powerful experiences to users working in highly technical and data-intensive environments. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create user-centered designs that meet both business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research: Conduct in-depth research with system administrators, DevOps engineers, and other technical users to understand their workflows, pain points, and requirements in managing data center application, data and infrastructure.
UI/UX Design: Design comprehensive user flows, dashboards, and interaction models specifically for data center application, data and infrastructure management software. Ensure that interfaces provide clear insights into performance data and support effective troubleshooting.
Prototyping and Wireframing: Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize user flows and system interactions for enterprise software.
Information Architecture: Develop and optimize the information architecture for dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting interfaces, ensuring data is easily accessible and actionable for technical users.
User Testing: Plan and execute usability testing with target users to validate design decisions, ensure that workflows are intuitive, and iterate based on feedback.
Collaboration: Work closely with product management, software engineers, and data architects to ensure designs align with system capabilities and performance goals.
Design Systems: Build and maintain a scalable design system that can be used across multiple enterprise-grade platforms, ensuring consistency in visual and interaction design.
Data Visualization: Design clear, effective data visualizations that simplify complex metrics and enable users to monitor and diagnose issues quickly.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for enterprise-level data center application, data, and infrastructure management software, preferably in storage management systems or APM tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing UX design for comprehensive, data-driven platforms, with a focus on dashboards, analytics, and monitoring systems.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Experience with information-heavy UI and data visualization techniques.
Ability to understand and design for technical user personas such as system administrators, network engineers, and DevOps teams etc.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for APM or other management software (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, etc.).
Familiarity with storage management platforms (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.).
Understanding of enterprise IT environments, including cloud infrastructure and hybrid storage solutions.
Solid experience with technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript) is a great plus.
Fluent in English, can be used as working language.
