Telematic Control Unit (TBOX) is onboard ECU enbling base connectivity so that the car can communicate with outside wourld,besides of base connectivity, multiple digital services are also deployed on TBOX, e.g. real-time monitoring, emergency call, remote service, etc.
we are looking for a project lead, who takes responsibility leading and steering the TBOX development, and work with a team consists of function owner, product owner, SW development, Test and validation, standardization for in-house development and on-time delivery for multiple car models.
Responsibilities:
Take lead steering of Tbox functions series development, test and validation, including in-house developed function Realtime Monitoring, be responsible for project planning, specification release, project and supplier steering, management reporting, team coordination and others. Lead entire development phase & building phase of RTM to meet the vehicle development milestones.
Align with relevant local departments in China and with BMW FIZ in Munich.
Review, monitor and report project status.
In-depth research of related industry / market trends and standards.
Be responsible for budget planning and get it aligned with stakeholders, and get it approved by relevant department.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree (Master with international studies) in automotive, electric, mechanical, communications engineering or similar.
Knowledge/ experience of TBOX development, project management. Knowledge/Experience of development process in (ideally automotive) E/E systems.
Knowledge and ability of Project management skill for the timing monitoring and project prioritization.
Technical understanding from E/E, automation, CAN-BUS, TRACE or telematics.
Communication, presentation and team player skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing, multi-project environment.
Open minded and highly self organized.
Valid Chinese driver license.
Work experience in the automotive E/E development domain or similar, as technical project lead or function owner of RTM.
