Execution of all development activities in the Process Chain "Electronics, Fully Automated Driving", ProEV (SE-Team work, standardization, supplier evaluation and development, analysis, validation, testing, BMW production, …) in China and Asia with focus on advanced drivers assistance (ADAS) and highly automated driving (HAD) projects
Major Responsibilities:
Collaboration with FG and FO team in Germany as representative for China and Asia
Updating HW and SW of developed ADAS/ AD functions, components and test setups
Testing HW and SW of developed ADAS/ AD functions and components
Approval of local test and validation reports and documents
Requirements management for ADAS/ AD functions
Alignment and communication with the relevant local BMW departments in China and with BMW FIZ in Munich
Review, monitor and report the status of ongoing ADAS/ AD projects
Contact with suppliers and authorities
Monitoring ADAS/ AD function and component projects from China perspective (production/ quality/ development/ validation/ testing)
Support in the budget planning process for the organization unit
Qualifications:
Education / Degree: Engineering degree (Master with international studies) in automotive, electrical, communications engineering or similar, ideally with ADAS specific background
Knowledge/Experience of development process in automotive electronic systems (hardware and software) with focus on ADAS/ AD
Excellent language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory, German language skills highly appreciated, Chinese language skills appreciated
Technical Know-How
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing, multi-project environment
Microsoft Office skills (WORD / EXCEL / POWERPOINT / PROJECT)
Valid Chinese driver license and advanced driving skills
Leading, communication, presentation and team player skills
Open minded and highly self organized
Knowledge in project management (time management / planning / monitoring)
Experience:
Technical work and project management experience in the automotive electronic industry or similar
International studies or employment
Automotive development process experience
