Key Responsibilities
• Knowledge of Linux, Database, Networking, Kubernetes, AWS cloud services
• Familiar with security patch management and its critical aspects
• Familiar with protocols like tcp, https, dns and k8s security policy, ingress, etc..
• Experience of IDS/IPS, DDos prevention, WAF security firewall, Sandbox & email gateway, etc. for security protection.
• Experience of Security operation, monitoring, management.
• Responsibility for ensuring the agreed information and cyber security architecture and solution design is engineered to specification and within acceptable risk tolerance.
• Design and develop security solutions in accordance with the System Development Lifecycle, Application and code security architecture and documentation standards.
• Collate and document data flows between users and systems and overlay appropriate security controls to protect information and systems
• Create and review functional and non-functional security requirements, including all additional requirements for InfoSec and Cyber projects.
• Review system architecture and designs to ensure all solutions have undergone appropriate assurance and meet security acceptance criteria.
• Streamline the patching process to reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.
• Implement automated processes for patch management using tools like BigFix.
• Support day-to-day activities of the Information Security Strategy and Solution Architecture function ensuring Operating Level Agreements are met.
• Ability to plan and write documentation for the systems solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Proven experience with server room design, including power, cooling, and cable management.
• Strong background in server administration, security hardening, intrusion detection/prevention, and compliance frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of network design (LAN, WAN, VPN), routing, switching, and firewall management.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Documentation: Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, RHCE, CISSP, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus.
