This senior role will closely work with our internal IT, as well 3rd party cloud providers (AWS, azure, and GCP) to provide cloud network design and operate the cloud in concern of security, performance, utilization, and cost. Our customers include internal or acquired gaming studios, innovative offices/workplaces, various business groups, and external customers. The work scope will include understanding the internal customers’ business requirements, collecting the technical requirements, developing reference architecture and prototypes based on leading industry best practices, leading implementation and deployment for global locations, as well as issue troubleshooting when necessary；
Responsibilities
• Develop network tool/system to achieve the desired functionality ；
• Develop network automation solutions to increase operation efficiency；
• Implement different solutions and improve the stability and flexibility of the network with the best security features & creating documents for its configuration and installation ；
• Support, monitor, and take care of existing configuration changes for on-premises and Multi-Cloud Networks (AWS, Tencent Cloud, GCP, and Azure)；
• Being able to understand and manage generic network monitoring and network performance test tool example SolarWinds and Iperf, etc;
• Engage in fixing the calls and support team and its users to resolve the problems ；
• Take part in projects along with network engineering and help in supporting along with providing application plans.
• Interact with customers via phone or email to work towards fixing the network issues;
• Being compliant with team procedures, such as change management, Jira, ITSM, automation, and revision control.
Qualifications
• Must have 3+ years of network operation experience with one of the following leading cloud solutions: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, or Tencent Cloud. Experience in multi-cloud is a big plus；
• 5+ years of experience with networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, switching, and IP subnetting.
• Experience in the following cloud networking areas is a plus: AWS direct connects, VPCs, Transit Gateways, SGs, ALB/NLB，Tencent Cloud CCN, DXGW，CloudWatch / CloudTrail，Next-gen firewalls (IDS/IPS, DLP, Content Filtering, Anti-malware, DDoS, etc)，SIEM & SYSLOG，SFlow/NetFlow/Flowlog
• Familiar with automation or IaC tool/platform like Terraform or Ansible；
• Extensive experience with a variety of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, IGRP, and EIGRP.
• Proficiency in IP and route summarization, including configuring routers and switches.
• Experience using network analysis tools such as Tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Preferred experience working with AI, machine learning, or anomaly detection technologies within network security, using tools such as Cortex, SOAR, or CrowdStrike.
• Experience working with firewalls, including Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems and their networking functions.
• Knowledge of server load balancing solutions, including SLB farms, Web Application Firewalls, and SSL offloading.
• Strong interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher), Computer Science, Mathematics, or related science or engineering major
• Bilingual required (English, Chinese)
